Backlink Blacklist Checker

Over the years doing link building, we've gathered a list of 50,000+ websites that we wouldn't build links from. Here you can access 60% of that list while we keep the rest as proprietary only for our agency clients.
What is the backlink blacklist used for?

Some websites are too sketchy and dangerous to get a backlink from. We put together this blacklist which tells you should not build a backlink from the website.

Does the blacklist include all harmful domains?

No, because there are so many out there. We keep updating our database as we learn about new harmful domains. Sometimes even we have built a link in the past that now is part of the blacklist.

We also don't share our full blacklist as it has taken us time and effort to collect these. This list is about 60% of the whole list. Our clients have access to the full list.

Should I disavow links that are in the blacklist?

Oftentimes disavowing does more harm than good even according to Google representatives. Only use the disavow if your domains has gotten a manual penalty.

My site is here but it's not harmful. Can you remove it?

We regularly review our blacklist but the domains have ended up there for one reason or another. We don't take removal requests into consideration.

I found a healthy site from the blacklist. Is it still harmful?

There's no right or wrong when it comes to domain blacklisting. Sometimes we make a mistake too and a good domain ends up on a bad list. So take it more as a suggestion than a rule and look at a variety of metrics when building links. Sometimes the domain is good by itself but the people running the website are not to be trusted due to breaking unspoken rules of the link building community.
