The internet will always be dependent on links from one website to another to create a network of valuable websites. People and machines discover new content through links and assign authority based on them.

SEO as an industry will not be going away anytime soon even with generative AI, especially for SaaS companies who's solutions and expertise require in-depth content that needs to be created and discovered.
